This news is related to the phenomenon of climate changes i.e., El Nino and La Nina. Due to which thier is occurrence of major or severe cold in eastern area of earth including Asia and dryness or hot condition in western side of earth like America.
What is El Nino and La Nina ?
El Nino and La Nina are the climatic patterns which occur either in 6 months or sometimes it occurs in 4-5 years. These climatic patterns basically occur in the Pacific Ocean by which the whole world will affect. In Normal condition the trade winds blow from west along with the equator i.e., from southern America to Asia. It means the warm air evaporate up and blow from west side to east side and in place to warm water evaporation, the cold water comes in the surface of ocean that leads the cold climatic condition in America. And this is the reason why American side countries temperatures are not too much.
El Nino
The word “El Nino” means the little boy in Spanish. And it is the hot event where the warm water from the east ocean evaporate and wind blow toward west of America and this effect the cold condition in east and warm or dryness condition in west. The reason is that when warm water evaporate from the east ocean than the cold water comes upward and this result coldness in the eastern region. And because the warm air blow toward western region that’s why there is warm and dryness in that region.
La Nina
The word “La Nina” means the little girl in Spanish. And it is a cold event and it is totally opposite to the El Nino in which the water evaporates from the western region oceans and blows toward the eastern region of the world. This leads to a cold environment in the American region and warm and dry conditions in Asian countries like India. And that’s why this condition is known as a cold event.
